I'm always preaching about how life is so short.
About how we should appreciate everyone in our lives.
Well today, I experienced it first hand.
After school, my friends and I decided to take a walk to 42nd street to see what the tourists were up to.
Made sense since our school is like right there and none of us were ready to go home.
While we are waiting for the light to change (it takes MAJOR balls to j-walk in Times Square) a car jumped the curb.
It was literally like right next to me.
It hit a parked BMW and it left a HUGE dent in the BMW (the car that jumped the curb was a Mercedes).
Afterward, I was very emotional.
All I kept on thinking "what if that had been me?"
It's so ironic because I always talk about "what if I get hit by a bus?"
I probably wouldn't have died, but I could have been really injured.
This was a little after we had texted the big Obama billboard.
-gosh that was so cool.
This situation is ironic also because I just turned in a paper where we had to pretend that we were dead, and we has to guess whether or not people still had things that they wanted to tell us, but had not.
What if that had been me?
There is still so much that I want to do.
So much I want to see.
Eeehh, I'm just happy it wasn't me.

-HSM time =D
