*Okay, so I'm sitting here reorganizing my iTunes library. Honestly before this damn iPod touch I really didn't care. But yeah, I've been doing this almost all day. Shit, I've done about 200 songs already, and I haven't even made a dent. But that isn't why I wanted to write this blog.
**What's a dream? I think it's one of those things that we don't know exactly, but we all have a universal understanding of it yanno? Well here is exactly what a dream is.
- a series of mental images and emotions occurring during sleep; "I had a dream about you last night"
- imaginative thoughts indulged in while awake; "he lives in a dream that has nothing to do with reality"
- ambition: a cherished desire; "his ambition is to own his own business"
- pipe dream: a fantastic but vain hope (from fantasies induced by the opium pipe); "I have this pipe dream about being emperor of the universe"
- have a daydream; indulge in a fantasy
- a state of mind characterized by abstraction and release from reality; "he went about his work as if in a dream"
- experience while sleeping; "She claims to never dream"; "He dreamt a strange scene"
- someone or something wonderful; "this dessert is a dream"
Okay, so this answers that question. But have you ever sat down and really thought about what a dream is? Sometimes I wonder what dreams stand for. Are they supposed to tell us something, or are they merely something to entertain us for a little while? I like to listen to them sometimes. Some of my best ideas have come from my dreams.
***Lately, I've been dreaming about all kinds of things. -cries. Blah, I can't even go on typing that thought.
****Someone asked me "Why do you always need to know everything?" and I guess it's because I'm still a little bit of a control freak. I'm much better though. Maybe if I was told things more often I wouldn't always be so inquisitive =[ -shakes fist at these tears. Gosh, don't get me wrong, I'm extremely happy, but I just hate second guessing. -tells self to stop. --brushes shoulders off because Imma bad ass bitch.
***** I guess I wrote this blog to say, next time you have a dream no matter how ridiculous it may seem, don't be so quick to just brush it off. Listen to it sometimes.
